Saturday was another good performance especially as we had players unavailable and the bad weather conditions to contend with. It is so easy to become complacent and under achieve in such circumstances bit I think this performance and result shows how far we have come as a squad since the start of the season.

We have some real depth now and never looked like we had made one change let alone 8 from the previous week. Luke was strong in the centre and showed good fitness and no loss of his tenacity following his broken toe. Scully showed us some lovely touches, he demoralises other teams and as a defender he must be a real handful to play against. It was great to see Scouse on his way back. He is a good lad and won't be happy with his performance such is his professionalism, but it's a step forward and he will be important to us as the season comes to a climax.

All we can do is keep working hard and for each other. If we stay organised we give ourselves a chance and we are determined to keep this momentum going. Everyone knows they have to perform and hope you've made the starting 11 as all places are up for grabs. The spirit it is good and we are all playing with confidence, we have a belief in ourselves and each other that is worth a goal start at the moment.
