St Neots retained their top spot in the Western Division of the Ridgeons Youth League with a very creditable draw at Stotfold which robbed the host side of their 100% record this season. Last season's champions Stotfold had clinched the title with a 3-2 victory over St Neots at Roker Park at the end of April and they could have gone back to the top of the league with a victory for they started the match just a single point behind St Neots. However the visitors were reluctant to surrender their unbeaten record this season and they began in very confident style hurrying in to a 2-0 half time lead with both goals coming from Rob Gooch. After the break Stotfold came out looking very determined and they salvaged a point with a brace of goals from Luke Green.
